All actors in this show must be warm, personable and charming people with the ability to honestly act any song. Any actor who isn’t a group player or has the tendency to steal a scene is WRONG for this show. No actor imitates Rosemary Clooney.
Woman 1: 35-45, must be a great singer, actor and move well. She is the most sophisticated of the two women. Must be very warm, sincere and passionate. Must be able to act a song. She is sensitive and strong with a great natural ability for comedy. She is the show’s anchor.
Woman 2: 25-35, blonde. Should play younger than Woman 1. Great singer, actor and dancer. She has most of the dance numbers in the show. She is light hearted, innocent and extremely sexy. She must be very likeable with that “Girl Next Door” charm.
Man: 30-40, All-American, dark hair and eyes, good looks. Great singer, actor, moves well and must be very comfortable just talking to the audience. Does some couple dancing with both women, so he must know how to lead. He represents most the men in Rosemary’s life, her husbands, Bing Crosby etc. He is not cocky, but rather that lovely, funny, confident, charming man that women wish they could bring home to meet their mother.
